Empowering Communities

Our Mission
At Arkansas Civic Action Network, we believe democracy is strongest when every Arkansan has the tools and confidence to take part. That is why we work to make civic life clear and accessible, connecting people with reliable information, practical skills, and meaningful opportunities for action. By linking communities with one another and with decision-makers, we create spaces where questions can be asked, ideas can be tested, and solutions can be built together. Our commitment to honesty, inclusion, and accountability guides every effort, because when people are informed and engaged, they shape not only policy but also the future of Arkansas.
Arkansas Civic Action Network has engaged thousands of Arkansans in civic life through education, workshops, and community projects. We partner with schools, libraries, and grassroots organizations to reach people where they are, providing them with practical skills and reliable information. From helping first-time voters feel at home in the polling booth to mentoring students as they launch community-based projects, our work translates ideas into action. By building bridges between communities and decision makers, we help turn civic participation into lasting change.
Our Work

Civic Workshops
We provide workshops designed to help community members become confident, informed voters.

Community Building
Our programs help neighbors connect, build shared visions, and take meaningful action in their communities.

Voices into Action
We offer training and guidance to equip individuals with the tools to advocate effectively and influence public policy.

ENGAGE
We empower high school students to step into leadership roles, earn service hours, and design community projects with guidance, mentorship, and support.
Events: Empowering Communities
Our events bring people together to learn, connect, and act. From workshops in local libraries to conversations with policymakers, we create spaces where Arkansans can build civic skills and put them to use. Each event is designed to spark curiosity, encourage honest dialogue, and give every participant something practical to carry forward.
